Lenten Soup &
Supper Program
Wednesdays during Lent we will again meet at 6:30 p.m. for a light soup supper
prepared by John Tinti and some time together to talk about matters of our
faith. This year Fr. Phil will lead discussions on the topic, "The
Importance of Human Work." While we at St. John's-Grace are not, for
the most part, focused on "doing" this series will concentrate on
"what we do as a result of who we are." This is a conversation
for those who are working full or part time, those who are unemployed, those
who are retired -- in short, for all humans interested in Christian
productivity.

Salt Shakers
Groups of 5 or 6
are encouraged to meet for Dinner at one another’s homes or in the Church
dining room for an informal chance to get to know one another. These groups are encouraged to meet about
once a month.
Dinner is arranged
by a host who assigns which dishes the participants might bring to the meal.
These groups of 5 or 6 are also encouraged to invite additional members of the
congregation to dinner thereby enlarging the number of members “getting to
know” one another.
